Day six: My Views on Mainstream Music.

Deadmau5, Bruno Mars, Adele, One Direction; we all know these bands in one way or another and a lot of the songs that we hear today are mostly by these people (unless you manually change the channel/station, or you’re deaf, etc.) I must say, the talent of a lot of todays artists are extremely talented and with such a fine taste of music that’s saying quite a bit.

Deadmau5 is a great example along with the likes of Skrillex, it may be electronically synthesised beats and rhythms, but it creates an amazing composition that no average person can pull off. Maroon 5 has been at the top of the charts for as long as I can remember, and they deserve it. Their songs are catchy and you can’t help to sing-along to every one. I have a few other bands on my mind that I love to listen to, but when it comes to hip-hop or rap, that’s when my views of mainstream go…downstream. Overall, todays music is evolving rapidly and tomorrow’s will only get better and better.
